It is a great, affordable drugstore liquid liner that is very easy to use. I am not a pro at doing eyeliner and the Essence Liquid Ink is one even I can use and make work for me. So when I spotted they now do this eyeliner in a brown, I was all ears. Brown liquid liner is usually quite hard to get. You can get a million black ones, but a brown one? At the drugstore? Difficult to find, if not impossible, depending on how the makeup market develops. So I was happy to see Essence do this. Is it as good as the black one?

This variant is waterproof as I wanted something that could survive my oily lids that gets oilier because of Chennai’s humidity. It does have a slight artificial smell to it but that’s not overpowering and I can barely sense it.
