Face Base has a moderately strong grapefruit scent. That doesn’t bother me, and the scent disappears after you apply it, but if you are sensitive to scented products, this might be a turnoff. The Bobbi Brown hydrating face cream comes in two sizes, the mini, which actually comes in a tube (preferable for me) and the regular, which comes in the standard tub you scoop out with your fingers. Using it is quick and easy. After washing my face in the morning, I apply the Face Base like I would any other moisturizer or primer, and then wait a few minutes for it to absorb. (One of my biggest makeup mistakes of the past was not letting my moisturizer/primer dry, which prevents it from working as a barrier.)
